Ribbon cutting ceremony to be held Thursday, Sept. 11

Braman Termite and Pest Elimination, a leading provider of pest management services in southern New England since 1890, today announced that it will hold an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at their new location, 275 Washington St., Auburn. The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 5:15 p.m.

“For over 100 years, we have provided quality pest control services to southern New England and eastern New York,” said Jerry Lazarus, third-generation owner of Braman. “We offer exceptional training for our employees in order to provide exceptional service for our customers. Opening this new facility in Auburn is a natural extension of our continued commitment to provide quality pest management options for the businesses and residents of Worcester County and the surrounding area.”

Braman, which has a number of service centers that serve southern New England and eastern New York – including the new location in Auburn – takes an integrated approach to pest elimination. Techniques include both chemical and non-chemical options that are safe for people, pets, and the environment. Over the years they have developed a reputation for pest management excellence for residential and commercial customers in all types of environments, including the hospitality, housing, health care, educational and food-related industries ranging from manufacturing to retail.

Distinguished speakers scheduled to attend the open house include: Auburn Board of Selectmen Chair Doreen Goodrich, who will present a proclamation from the town as well as a citation on behalf of state Sen. Michael Moore; state Rep. Paul Frost, who will present a citation; and Auburn Chamber of Commerce President Karen Blais.

“We invite our customers – and our neighbors in Worcester County – to stop by our newest office at 275 Washington St. in Auburn Sept. 11 to help us celebrate the opening of our new service center and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails,” said Lazarus.
